Overview

The Operations Coordinator provides essential support to the operations and administrative teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day plant and office operations. This role combines transportation dispatch, administrative support, and financial assistance to help the Operations Manager and office team operate efficiently.

 

Hourly Pay: 

 $25.00 CAD                            

Shift(s): 

 Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm 

Location: 

 1672 Tricont Avenue, Whitby, ON L1N 7C3  

What You'll Do

  • Dispatch all loads to truck drivers and maintain regular communication regarding changes or deliveries.
  • Advise the Operations Manager on updates and ensure that tracking systems, such as the whiteboard, are accurate and up to date.
  • Total grade sheets and provide reports for the Operations Manager.
  • Serve as backup to the order desk when needed.
  • Support AR/AP functions and other financial or administrative tasks as required.

What You'll Need

  • Previous experience in operations, administration, or logistics coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory or tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with drivers, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work independently and support multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range

CAD $25.00 - CAD $25.00 /Hr.
